GOODWE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Our client is seeking passionate and results-driven GoodWe B2B Executives to sell our products-GoodWe solar inverters and batteries.

This role focuses on B2B engagement, particularly in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar space, to drive revenue growth and expand market share across Kenya and the East African region.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in exceeding sales targets, especially in B2B and solar C&I projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the allocated GoodWe Sales Targets and Drive full sales cycles: from lead generation and consultation to negotiation, and closing.
  • Identify and engage key B2B clients to expand GoodWe's presence in Kenya and the broader East African market.
  • Implement a strategic route-to-market plan for GoodWe products.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass sales and revenue targets for inverters and battery systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical departments to run impactful campaigns, product demos, and after-sales support.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to maintain a strong market position for GoodWe products.
  • Ensure payment collection in alignment with agreed terms.
  • Foster and manage client relationships to unlock new opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, policy changes, competitor offerings, and emerging solar technologies.
  • Represent the company in exhibitions, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Submit timely and detailed reports on customer engagement, sales pipeline, wins/losses, and market intelligence

Requirements

  • Proven experience in solar product sales, particularly in inverters and battery systems.
  • 5+ Years experience and success in B2B engagement, especially within C&I solar projects.
  • Deep understanding of the East African renewable energy market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and driven by results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
