About the Opportunity

Avocent Healthcare is expanding its clinical team and is seeking
dedicated Medical Officers
to join our growing practice in Nairobi.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare facility that prioritizes patient-centered care, professional collaboration, and continuous growth.

As a Medical Officer at Avocent, you will work alongside experienced clinicians and specialists, supported by a fully integrated lab, pharmacy, and digital systems that make care delivery efficient and seamless.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consultations and provide evidence-based diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with specialists in areas such as dermatology, physiotherapy, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, orthopedics, and general practice.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
  • Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Promote preventive healthcare and patient education.
  • Uphold professional ethics, clinical quality, and Avocent Healthcare's standards of care.

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
  • Committed to continuous professional development and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
