Job Profile:

Job Overview: As an Optometrist at our retail chain, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual disorders, prescribing corrective lenses, and advising on eye health. You will work closely with customers to ensure their vision needs are met while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Comprehensive Eye Examinations:

Perform thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, binocular vision, and eye health.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate and diagnose ocular conditions.
Prescribe Corrective Lenses:
  • Determine appropriate eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions based on examination results.
  • Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame selections that meet their visual requirements and lifestyle.
Provide Expert Advice:
  • Offer professional guidance on maintaining optimal eye health and preventing vision-related issues.
  • Address customer concerns and questions regarding eye care, eyewear, and related products.
Maintain Accurate Records:
  • Document examination findings, prescriptions, and other relevant information accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with the Retail Team:
  • Work closely with retail associates to ensure a seamless customer experience, including helping customers select frames, lenses, and other eyewear products.
  • Provide input on inventory selection based on customer trends and needs.
Customer Service Excellence:
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing personalized and attentive service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, and complaints, and follow up with necessary actions.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements
  • Degree in Optometry or any equivalent qualifications with a minimum of one year of work experience as an optometrist.
  • Fluent in the English language.
