About Us

The NGO International Film & Knowledge Forum (NGOIFKF) is a global platform using film and knowledge as tools for dialogue, education, and social transformation. We're seeking a dynamic Communications & Social Media Officer to help manage our communications and amplify our digital media.

Role Overview

This is a temporary
2-month, fully remote
role. The officer will lead our digital communications, manage social media, and support storytelling that highlights our events, campaigns, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a communication strategy that reflects our mission.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Create engaging content (posts, reels, newsletters, press releases).
  • Coordinate media outreach and emails
  • Track and report on communication metrics to assess impact.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • ⁠Experience managing social media for organizations/campaigns.
  • Familiarity with PR, digital advocacy, and communication tools.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for design and inclusive messaging.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines remotely.
