Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Web Designer located in Nairobi County, Kenya, with some work-from-home flexibility. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites, creating graphics, and ensuring the implementation of responsive web design across various devices. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines, and assisting in front-end development tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Web Design, Responsive Web Design, and Front-End Development
  • Proficiency in Graphic Design, including creating high-quality graphics and layouts
  • Experience with collaborative projects and understanding of design-to-development workflows
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and ability to optimize designs for user engagement
  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field is a plus
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to remote and hybrid work environments
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar platforms is preferred
