About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Photovoltaic (PV) Designer to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end technical design and analysis of solar PV projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1、Conduct preliminary project consulting, due diligence, feasibility analysis, and initial system design for PV projects.

2、Perform detailed electrical design for PV systems, including construction drawing design, as-built drawings, and providing technical guidance.

3、Utilize specialized software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) for energy production simulation, yield analysis, and system optimization.

4、Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects adhere to all technical standards and specifications.

5、Participate in site surveys and provide ongoing technical support during project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1、Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

2、Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in PV system design. Experience on international projects is highly advantageous.

3、High proficiency in PV design software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

4、Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to use it as a working language.

5、Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

6、Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
