The Alliance is part of CGIAR, aglobal research partnership for a food -secure future, dedicated to reducingpoverty, enhancing food and nutrition security, and improving natural resourcesand ecosystem services. About the position The Alliance of BioversityInternational and CIAT is looking for a highly skilled Consultant to support the climate action teams in Dataand Marketing area. The Consultant will play a pivotal rolein the following areas:• Createinteraction guide to build trust with agribusiness partners• Formalize 'softer' elements of partner selection rubric,like openness, honesty and how willing the partner is to collaborate Keyduties & responsibilities ·       Competitor analysis for the EMBE data product - Reportcomparing the client's products/services with competitors, identifyingstrengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.·       Customer segmentation analysis - segmentationthe target market based on demographic, psychographic, or behavioralcharacteristics to help clients better understand their customer base·       Product feasibility study - Assessments of theviability and potential success of a particular business venture or marketingstrategy.·       Strategic recommendation deck based on marketdemand estimation. RequirementsRequirementsQualifications·       Bachelor's degree in business or marketing·       Experience in corporate marketing strategy andimplementation in Kenya·       At least 7 years of experience in marketingstrategy, marketing analytics or market research in Africa.·       Preference for experience in Kenya, Tanzania,Rwanda and/or UgandaTerms of employment Thisis a Consultancy position at our Nairobi office – with a 5 months duration.
