60,000 KES (gross) + commission (see structure below)

Role Summary

You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and registering new candidates into the recruitment pipeline, ensuring they meet all compliance and clearance requirements.

You will build and maintain a strong pipeline of active, work-ready candidates and ensure open positions are filled promptly. The focus is on growing the database of cleared and compliant candidates who can be placed quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Registration


• Actively source and attract candidates (teachers, support staff, cover supervisors, etc.) through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.


• Screen applicant CVs based on experience, qualifications, and role suitability.


• Conduct initial video interviews.


• Guide candidates through the full registration process—including document collection, reference checks, qualification verification, right-to-work, safeguarding, and DBS checks.


• Maintain accurate records in the CRM/ATS.

Compliance & Quality Assurance


• Monitor clearance status and follow up on outstanding documents.


• Liaise with compliance teams to ensure checks are valid and up to date.


• Flag and escalate any compliance risks or eligibility concerns.


• Maintain high standards of data integrity and GDPR compliance.

Filling Open Positions


• Match cleared candidates to active job openings.


• Coordinate candidate availability in line with client needs.


• Maintain regular communication with candidates regarding readiness and availability.


• Contribute to excellent service delivery through accuracy and responsiveness.

Commission Structure


• For every candidate cleared and ready to work, once they have completed 10 working days in total, you will receive:

£50 per cleared candidate.

Person Specification

Essential


• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (education sector experience is an advantage).


• Comfortable managing large volumes of sourcing and compliance tasks.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.


• Target-driven, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Understanding of compliance and safeguarding (or willingness to learn).

Desirable


• Experience recruiting for education roles.


• Ability to generate referrals and build networks.
