AUTO DENTER / PANEL BEATER

Job Purpose:

Implement denting, chassis, and body repair work on all vehicle surfaces in accordance with operational standards, including Smart Repair techniques to ensure high-quality restoration and finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Review job cards and carry out assigned repair tasks to ensure vehicle surfaces are properly restored and ready for painting.
  • Execute assigned body and chassis repair work in line with standard operational procedures and within specified timelines.
  • Perform
    SMART (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques)
    repairs, including minor dents, scratches, scuffs, and surface imperfections, ensuring minimal material use and fast turnaround.
  • Diagnose and repair dents, structural damage, and chassis misalignments using proper tools and modern techniques.
  • Coordinate with the team leader on major or new technical issues requiring resolution.
  • Liaise with the quality controller for final inspection and promptly inform the job controller or team leader of any additional work required or delays in delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment; ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship at all times.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to company repair standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Auto Denter / Panel Beater with solid expertise in both body and chassis repair (
    chassis experience is a must
    ).
  • Practical knowledge of
    SMART Repair
    methods and equipment.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of tools, equipment, and materials used in denting, bodywork, and chassis repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, precision, and commitment to quality work.
