Role Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing:
     Recording daily financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, and payments.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
     Managing customer transactions, ensuring timely payments, and processing invoices and receipts.
  • Record Keeping:
     Maintaining accurate ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
  • Reconciliations:
     Performing bank and cash reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
     Assisting senior accountants with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and performing basic financial analysis.
  • Audit Support:
     Providing support and documentation for internal and external audits.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
     A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is often required.
  • Technical Proficiency:
     Familiarity with accounting software and tools is crucial.
  • Attention to Detail:
     A strong ability to be accurate and precise in financial record-keeping.
  • Organization & Time Management:
     Skills to manage daily tasks, maintain organized records, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills:
     The ability to understand and analyze financial information and identify discrepancies.
  • Integrity & Compliance:
     A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and a commitment to ethical practices.
