Role Purpose

The Data Analyst – Solutech Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless system operations across the Solutech sales management platform. This role will provide data analytics, reporting, and technical support to the sales and merchandising teams, ensuring accurate route planning, compliance, and sales tracking from order taking to invoicing. The incumbent will also manage dashboards, in-system promotions, and stock transfers while providing actionable insights for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. System & Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary Solutech system administrator and point of contact for all technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, connectivity issues, or app failures for field teams.
  • Coordinate with Solutech technical support and internal IT for system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Train sales teams on Solutech usage, new features, and system best practices.

2. Data Management & Reporting

  • Pull and analyze data from Solutech daily, weekly, and monthly to generate operational and performance reports.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that visualize key KPIs across the four sales teams:
  • Pre-Sales
  • Motorbike Sales Representatives (MBRs)
  • Van Sales Representatives (VSRs)
  • Merchandising Team
  • Generate reports on order taking, invoicing, route compliance, and sales coverage.
  • Monitor route adherence and recommend route optimization opportunities.
  • Manage stock transfer data and reconcile system entries against actual movement.

3. Sales Tracking & Performance Analysis

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets.
  • Analyze trends, sales gaps, and team performance by SKU, region, and customer type.
  • Provide insights to management for sales strategy and resource allocation.
  • Prepare end-month summary reports covering sales performance, expenses, and route coverage.

4. System Operations & Configuration

  • Set up offers, discounts, and promotions in Solutech as guided by the sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintain customer and route master data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure synchronization of order-to-invoice processes across teams and regions.
  • Support stock management reporting including transfers, returns, and adjustments.

Key Deliverables

  • Daily and weekly sales dashboards (by team, region, and product).
  • Route compliance and coverage reports.
  • End-month consolidated report for sales, stock, expenses, and coverage.
  • System uptime and issue resolution logs.
  • Accurate input of offers, routes, and product data in Solutech.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
    in IT support, sales analytics, or field automation systems (preferably Solutech or similar platforms).
  • Strong proficiency in
    Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
    for dashboard creation and analytics.
  • Knowledge of
    SQL
    or data extraction tools will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and support a fast-moving sales environment.
