Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tour and Travel Consultant located in Nairobi. The responsibilities include planning, organizing, and managing travel services for clients, such as guided tours, transportation, and accommodation arrangements. The consultant will regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide itinerary recommendations, and address any travel-related inquiries. Ensuring high-quality customer service to meet client satisfaction and managing travel bookings and documentation are key aspects of the role. The consultant may also be involved in promoting travel packages and offering specialized tourist information.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Travel Consulting and knowledge of Travel & Tourism practices
  • Proven skills in Tours and itinerary planning
  • Strong Communication skills and the ability to understand and assess client needs effectively
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and a client-focused approach
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in using travel management software and tools is a plus
  • Prior experience in the travel or tourism industry
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred
