Elimu SA is a Black and Global South-rooted platform empowering equitable trade and cultural connections across Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Through our YKGS Hub platform, we are building a team committed to transformative South-South commerce.

Role summary:

Based in Kenya, you will identify, vet, and onboard local agricultural, agro-processing, and SME manufacturing producers ready for export. Your work ensures data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continued growth of YKGS's producer network.

Key responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit producers across Kenya's diverse productive sectors
  • Assess eligibility regarding business registrations and certifications (KEBS, KEPHIS, FSS)
  • Guide candidates through onboarding and compliance processes
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and report risks or delays to HQ
  • Provide actionable market feedback to support YKGS strategic planning
  • Participate in required YKGS training to remain aligned with export requirements in Kenya

Candidate profile:

  • Strong understanding of Kenya's export supply chains and regulatory norms
  • Existing networks within producer cooperatives, associations, or SMEs
  • Excellent data management and communication skills (English essential, Swahili a plus)
  • Organized, transparent, and motivated for professional growth

Compensation:

  • Commission per successfully onboarded and validated producer
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Potential advancement to regional specialist or facilitator roles
