Head of Commercial Sales – Technology Sector

Craftwise Academy is recruiting a senior commercial leader to drive strategy and revenue growth for a leading East African technology organisation. This role requires a proven track record in B2B/enterprise sales, operational excellence, and market execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy to achieve revenue growth, market expansion, and client retention.
  • Build high-performance sales structures, pipelines, and KPIs within the first 3 months.
  • Drive enterprise and key account strategies, securing and growing C-suite relationships.
  • Align sales outcomes with corporate objectives and product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in senior commercial/sales leadership, with 3+ years in the technology sector (SaaS, cloud, fintech, enterprise platforms).
  • Proven revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Advanced CRM expertise (Zoho, Salesforce, Dynamics 365) with strong analytics and forecasting skills.
  • Skilled in enterprise sales cycles, solution selling, and regional team leadership.

Role Details

  • Location: Nairobi, Kenya (regional remit)
  • Contract: 12 months – 3 months system build, 9 months market execution
  • Employer: Craftwise Academy (secondment to client)
