We are now seeking a Commercial Lead to drive the growth, strategy, and profitability of GETDEALS

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for GETDEALS in alignment with HOP's group objectives.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth through innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead negotiations and close strategic partnerships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, margin management, and revenue optimization.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with clear accountability.
  • Ensure effective use of data, reporting, and analytics to drive insights.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Tech to deliver on initiatives.
  • Represent the company externally at industry events, forums, and stakeholder engagements.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record in sales leadership & revenue growth
  • Strategic thinker who can turn vision into action
  • Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Data-driven with solid financial analysis capabilities
  • Resilient, adaptable leader who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • 10+ years' experience in commercial leadership (digital platforms, FMCG, retail, or services)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA is an advantage)

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Reports to: Chief Business Officer

Compensation: Competitive, aligned to internal structure
