The idealcandidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly inroad construction and structural projects. Excellent communication skills andthe ability to work effectively with relevant authorities and teams areessential.DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES:· Assist in the planning, design, andexecution of civil engineering projects.· Conduct site inspections to ensure compliancewith safety and quality standards.· Collaborate with senior engineers todevelop project plans and schedules.· Communicate effectively with clients,consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.· Implement traffic management plans toensure the safety of workers and the public in public road constructionprojects.· Conduct risk assessments specific topublic road construction, considering factors such as traffic flow, pedestriansafety, and visibility.· Ensure compliance with regulations relatedto temporary traffic control, signage, and road closures.· Coordinate with local authorities,emergency services, and other stakeholders to minimize disruptions and ensurepublic safety.· Implement and enforce measures toprotect workers from hazards associated with heavy equipment, vehicle traffic,and environmental conditions on public roads.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:· Education:Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.• License:Certified and registered engineer with EBK• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in construction projects, specifically in:· Road construction projects, includingurban road construction.· Structural works.• LanguageSkills: Proficient in English.• ComputerSkills:· Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel,Word, PowerPoint).· Experience with MS Project for projectScheduling and Management.· Familiarity with AutoCAD for designand drafting.• AdditionalRequirements: Ability to integrate well into theorganization and maintain smooth internal and external communication.Key Skills and Competencies:· Strong analytical and problem -solvingskills.· Experience with project managementsoftware and tools.· Ability to work under pressure andmeet deadlines.Interestedand qualified applicants should submit their applications through the linkbelow.Note:Only shortlisted applicants will becontacted.Q -SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUALOPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
