The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist & Office Manager to join our team in Nairobi. This dual role combines administrative HR responsibilities with office management, ensuring the seamless operation of our office while supporting the Head of HR in implementing key people initiatives.

As an integral member of the team, you will focus on a range of administrative tasks, including drafting and updating employee contracts and policies, maintaining accurate employee records, and assisting with recruitment efforts by writing job advertisements and managing job postings. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Nairobi office, ensuring an efficient, organised, and productive workplace.
  

Key Responsibilities:

​Draft, review, and update employee contracts, policies, and HR documentation in compliance with local labour laws in all of our markets and company guidelines.​Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.​Prepare and post job advertisements, coordinate with candidates, and support the recruitment process.​Assist the Head of HR with the rollout of HR initiatives and projects, including onboarding, training, and performance management.​Provide administrative support for HR reports, presentations, and audits.​Act as a liaison between the Nairobi office and HR leadership to ensure consistent communication.​Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the Nairobi office, including supply management, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance.​Manage office budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to company policies.​Serve as a point of contact for visitors, employees, and external stakeholders at the Nairobi office.​Support employees in understanding and adhering to company policies and procedures.​Advocate our culture of high performance success and support the execution of company OKR's and wellbeing strategies.


Person Specification:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in HR administration or office management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
