The Role:

You will be responsible for :

  • Driving sales objectives and achieving commercial budget and targets.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Building a high performing team by providing strong mentorship, coaching and guidance.
  • Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implement performance management actions when needed.
  • Ensuring proper use of the database and tools to track performance.
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis.
  • Driving product adoption and customer value at key accounts and identifying additional opportunities for customer expansion.
  • Collaborating with the sales team on account strategy development for assigned customers.
  • Defining best practices, metrics and goals and leading the Customer success teams towards achieving these.
  • Ensuring a high degree of customer renewals.
  • Building strong product expertise and providing training & ongoing support to key accounts as required.
  • Providing feedback and advocacy on customer pain-points to internal teams.
  • Managing a team of people.
Ideal Profile:
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, or procurement within the Gum Arabic sector.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of international trade practices, especially in MENA and African markets.
  • Experience working with FMCG, food tech, or nutraceutical companies is an advantage.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
