Role Summary
The Community Brand Ambassador promotes the Penda Health brand within the community, builds strong relationships with potential customers, and drives patient growth at our medical centers. This role involves executing community outreach activities, sharing accurate information about our healthcare services, and creating partnerships that support increased awareness and access. Success in this role means building strong community trust, generating consistent leads, and increasing patient visits driven by impactful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Activation
Promote the Penda Health brand within the community through outreach, distribution of materials, partnerships, and registration of customers on "Chat na Penda."
Customer Engagement
Engage respectfully with potential customers, address concerns, provide accurate information about services, and build community trust and rapport.
Reporting
Submit daily activity reports, share partnership and lead updates, and meet daily and monthly community engagement and patient growth targets.
Penda Way & Collaboration
Demonstrate teamwork, uphold Penda's customer experience standards, embrace feedback, and support additional duties as assigned.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have…
- A Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, Business Management, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in B2B or B2C sales, customer engagement, or community outreach.
- Experience in healthcare marketing is an added advantage.
- Fluency in both English and Swahili.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in community-based projects or customer service.
- A warm, engaging approach to interacting with community members.
