JOB SUMMARY
Job PurposeAs a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in both above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) responsibilities, contributing to the conceptualization, design, and execution of various projects that elevate our brand and engage our audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:Above the Line Responsibilities:Conceptualize and develop creative ideas based on client briefs, project objectives, and target audience preferences.Design visually appealing graphics for print materials including brochures, flyers, posters, business cards, packaging, and signage.Create engaging graphics for digital platforms such as websites, social media, mobile apps, and multimedia presentations, considering user experience and interactivity.Develop visual branding elements including logos, color palettes, typography, and brand guidelines to reflect the company's identity and values.Select appropriate typefaces, fonts, and typography styles to enhance readability and visual hierarchy in designs.Below the Line Responsibilities:Edit, retouch, and manipulate photographs and illustrations using image editing software to achieve desired visual effects.Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to understand project requirements and present design concepts for feedback.Develop online marketing materials for use on the company website and social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity and message.Iterate on designs based on client input to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to maintain relevance and enhance skills.QualificationsBachelor's degree in communication added advantage.Diploma in Graphic Design & Certificate in sales and Marketing ExperienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in the role, preferably within the home appliances, PR agencies, Marketing Agencies or related industryProven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design work.KnowledgeProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout composition.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.SkillsExcellent communication Skills Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency.Excellent Organization skills and ability to work under pressure Good networking and Influencing skillPersonal AttributesInnovative Mid set Dynamic and Adaptability Result orientedInterview TypeIn person - To undertake a Design Case Study
