Editing and proofreading skills are essential for this role as a National Consultant to ensure the coherence and consistency of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan in Montenegro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, with a minimum of three years of experience in editing, proofreading, and translation. Additionally, they should be proficient in software related to document formatting and familiar with graphic design. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse project team and contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategy for Montenegro's Early Action Support project. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing the updated NBSAP in both Montenegrin and English languages, collaborating with consultants and the National Project Coordinator, and ensuring the final product meets the highest standards of quality and style. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key responsibilities include editing and formatting the document in both languages, proofreading and editing, and stylistic alignment of outputs. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, preferably in English language and literature, and a minimum of three years of experience in editing, proofreading, and translation. They should also be familiar with software related to document formatting and have experience working in a diverse project team.

• Edit the updated NBSAP in both Montenegrin and English languages, including formatting and proofreading.
• Collaborate with consultants and the National Project Coordinator to ensure a fully edited and finalized NBSAP in both languages.
• Ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality and style in both languages.
• Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with project team members, ensuring open communication and clear understanding of project requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in editing, proofreading, and translation, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
