Mobile Money Support Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Mobile Money Support Engineer role is to effectively undertake MNO integration-related tasks within DPO Pay Group. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes within DPO are a key requirement for the role.

  • Operations and maintenance

a) Monitoring the performance of the MNO integrations

b) Identifying errors & bugs

c) Set up integration terminals and other related configurations in the system

d) Fulfill service requests from business teams.

e) Ensure processing is restored after a maintenance activity

  • DPO integrations

a)Setup MNO integration with the DPO system end-to-end

  • Technical support

a)Actively resolve merchant technical queries and API requests

b)Offer technical support to internal users of the DPO system

c)Track open tickets and monitor ticket progress per SLA, close ticket items when resolved

d)Provide support within the agreed SLA to other departments including customer care, fraud, sales, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

The Mobile Money Support Engineer role has the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, BBIT or a technology-related field.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Work well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Tech-savvy with an understanding of online payment solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, demonstrated ability to anticipate next steps, take initiative, exercise discretion, and apply sound judgment.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
Years of Experience

(Minimum)


• 2 years experience in a fast-paced MNO/Fintech/mobile money environment will be an added advantage
