Procurement Officer

Procurement Officer role involves managing procurement processes, materials, and services for master-plan developments in Tatu City.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in procurement, particularly in real estate and construction industries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with Project Managers to ensure conformity of procured materials and services with project specifications.
- Identifying, prequalifying, and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Requesting and analyzing price quotes, negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
- Reviewing and performing risk assessment on new agreements/contracts with suppliers/vendors.
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Preparing purchase orders, planning and confirming delivery of materials and services.
- Forecasting vendor and supplier payments to the finance team.
- Collating audit trail and documentation for finance department.
- Preparing procurement reports.
- Maintaining records and inventory of materials in company stores.
- Tracking and coordinating storage and dispatch of materials.
- Maintaining suitable inventory levels for various materials.
Required skills and experience:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
- Good knowledge of international markets and sourcing processes.
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
- Mature, pragmatic, and flexible approach, strong commercial judgment.
