The National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) is a state Corporation whose mission is to provide policy and strategic framework for mobilizing and coordinating resources for the prevention and control of syndemic diseases in Kenya.
Business Purpose/ObjectiveThe Office Assistants are responsible for attending to general routine office services, which include providing cleaning services, messengerial duties and preparing tea.
ResponsibilitiesCarrying out general routine office services
Delivery of letters and documents
Movement of letters and files to offices;
Collecting and disposing of litter and waster
Keeping good hygiene and sanitation of officers;
Dusting the office and ensuring habitable office conditions;
Moving or carrying and arranging office equipment and furniture;
Preparing office tea and performing general ad-hoc duties;
Maintaining and keeping safe custody of working tools and equipment;
Recommending appropriate tolls and consumables for use of the supervisor; and
Preparing and implementing appropriate schedules of work.
Person Specifications
The candidate must also have:
- At least eight (8) years relevant work experience
Proficiency in computer applications.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
Key competencies
Good interpersonal skills.
Proven administrative and communication skills.
Good communication skills; and
Proficiency in English and Kiswahili Languages
