Sales and Marketing Officer Opportunity


Company Overview: Our client, a logistics solution provider established in Kenya in 2012, is seeking a dedicated Sales and Marketing Officer to drive sales and marketing strategies effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify business opportunities, prospects, and sales options through research and analysis.
  • Manage and coordinate sales and marketing activities.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct market research and customer surveys.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and key partners.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and queries.
  • Establish contact with prospects and recommend solutions.
  • Follow up on leads and requests to secure business.
  • Attain monthly sales turnover targets.
  • Visit clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and secure business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and analyze reports.
  • Maintain quality service and organization standards.
  • Calculate client quotations and manage accounts.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in clearing, forwarding, freight, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research methods.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • High levels of creativity, integrity, and strategic thinking.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, report writing, and company policies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
  • Proven track record in sales.
