JOB SUMMARY
Desired work experience:Minimum 10 years working experience in Banking with at least five of those being in Managerial positions in Credit.Working knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures and internal control guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.Knowledge and experience of bank practices that provide the basis upon which to provide guidance on activities/tasks in a manner that consistently produce high quality of service, drives quality improvements and continuously evolving operational changes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder is a member of the Credit Risk Management Team, tasked with:Review of the Group Credit Risk Management PolicyReview of Credit Processes and proceduresReview of Credit product guidelinesReview of Credit scoring modelsCredit Quality assurance reviews & risk mitigationReview and submission of management reportsLiaison with other country and regional functions on Credit policy/processes/proceduresIdeal Job SpecificationsAcademic: Bachelor's degree from a recognized accredited university. Master's Degree is an added advantage.Professional: Professional qualification in Credit Management, Banking, Finance or any quantitative discipline is an added advantage.
