Global Gender Equality Advocacy Coordinator

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Generation Equality efforts. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive programme and administrative support for activities under Generation Equality, as well as for partners across the six regions where UN Women operates through Regional Offices.
This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in programme management, event coordination, communications, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with our team to develop reports, talking points, and website articles, while also assisting in curating and coordinating events and webinars.
Responsibilities- Support the Regional Project Coordination Specialist in managing and implementing programmes;
- Conduct research, mapping, and compile information;
- Draft reports, talking points, and website articles;
- Assist in curating and coordinating events and webinars;
- Provide support related to procurement processes;
- Support administrative tasks as required.
As a UN Women intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals passionate about promoting gender equality. You will also gain valuable skills and experience in programme management, event coordination, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, you will be exposed to the inner workings of a UN agency and have the chance to make a meaningful contribution to our mission.
Qualifications and RequirementsTo be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme or have graduated with a university degree within the past two years;
- Have excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English;
- Working knowledge of another UN language is an advantage;
- Meet the minimum requirements outlined in the job description.
