Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our leadership, ensuring that our programmes are effectively managed and delivered.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme management, with experience in managing complex projects and teams. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic advice to our leadership on programme development and implementation;
  • Managing and coordinating programme activities, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation;
  • Leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver programme objectives;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, donors, and government agencies;
  • Coordinating programme reporting and evaluation activities.

You will have a proven track record of success in programme management, with experience in managing large-scale projects and teams. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, public administration, or business administration;
  • At least 10 years of experience in programme management, with experience in managing large-scale projects and teams;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
