Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor for compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assemble teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine and acquire resources needed.
  • Develop and maintain company and project plans, budgets, and prepare and analyze project performance reports.
  • Negotiate, administer, and manage contracts with clients.
  • Serve as liaison between the waste facility and management requesting services.
  • Supervise teamwork processes and procedures and expenses and support programs driving team performance toward company goals.
  • Review and evaluate work to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee waste facility personnel needs, including coaching, training, and evaluating loader performance.
  • Provide input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in any related field.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees.
  • High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
  • Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
