Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to handle procurement activities at our client's healthcare facility in Nairobi. This role involves managing procurement operations, including budgeting and supplier relationships, to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Source organization requirements competitively and develop cost forecasts.
  • Monitor market trends, prices, and quality factors affecting supplies.
  • Develop and implement supply chain procedures and systems for efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement software and ERP systems, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and relevant certification such as CIPS/KISM/CPP.

  • Coordinate the disposal of obsolete assets through various methods, such as public auction, tender, or trade-in.

We require a professional with a diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, or related field, and at least two years of experience in healthcare facilities.
