Import & Export Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Import & Export Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth import and export of goods, managing customs clearance processes, and optimizing shipping routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customs Clearance: Provide high-quality customs clearance services, manage communications with customs clearance providers, and review and validate paperwork.
  • Shipping Management: Coordinate and manage all import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods, addressing any arising issues.
  • Freight Forwarding: Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to optimize shipping routes, modes, and rates.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience of 10+ years in the import/export field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of customs regulations and documentation requirements, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, strong analytical skills for cost optimization and process improvement.
