Job Title: Electromechanical Engineer

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of water infrastructure systems. This role entails approximately 70% fieldwork and 30% office tasks.

The position involves designing and implementing water and sewerage projects, leading field service activities, developing operations and maintenance plans, conducting on-site inspections, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely implementation.

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Designing and implementing water and sewerage projects in compliance with industry standards and regulations
    • Leading field service activities, including installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewerage systems
    • Developing and implementing operations and maintenance plans and standard operating procedures
    • Conducting on-site inspections and assessments to identify technical requirements and develop solutions
    • Conducting routine maintenance and scheduling preventive maintenance of water and sewerage infrastructure
    • Coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of water and sewerage projects
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing water and sewerage systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of proven experience designing, operating, and maintaining water infrastructure systems
  • Hands-on experience of at least 4 years in machinery operation and maintenance
  • Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical principles
  • Proficient in relevant software tools for engineering design, data analysis, and project management
  • Member of relevant professional bodies
