About the Role

Our client is a leading provider of innovative financial solutions, transforming the way businesses make cross-border payments. With a strong presence in multiple regions, they empower companies of all sizes with personalized and limitless financial access.

To date, they have successfully facilitated over 250 transactions exceeding $500 million. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Treasury Accountant and contribute to their mission.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payments review and processing, basic accounting, and allocation of GL codes. Additionally, they should have proven experience in a treasury role within the banking or fintech industry and be proficient in working with foreign currencies.

This is a full-time remote position located in {location}, {country_code}.

Key Responsibilities
  • Download bank statements from various Group banking portals.
  • Reconciliation of Bank statements.
  • Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of fiat currency payments at the request of the Commercial team.
  • Being on standby to process fiat payments after standard working hours.
  • Assist the Commercial team in managing expectations regarding the timely processing of payments.
  • Providing feedback on inefficient payment processes.
  • Assist the Treasury function with liquidity management.
  • Manage transactional queries with service providers on an ongoing ad hoc basis.
Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in payments review and processing, with good attention to detail.
  • 3+ years experience in basic accounting and allocation of GL codes.
  • 3+ years experience in working with foreign currencies.
  • Proven experience in a treasury role within the banking or fintech industry.
  • Experience with Oracles NetSuite (preferable).
  • Understanding of processing payments in local and foreign currencies.
  • Advanced working knowledge in the use of Google sheets and MS Excel.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the workings of virtual assets.
  • Preferably available immediately.
