Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our prestigious 5-Star Hotel in South Sudan. As a dynamic and passionate leader, you will be responsible for maintaining complete control of the kitchen and overseeing all culinary activities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of kitchen management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently. Additionally, they will have a working knowledge of various computer software programs, including MS Office and restaurant management software.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
- • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- • Maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- • Supervise kitchen staff's activities
- • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- • Recruit, train, manage, and supervise kitchen staff
- • Rectify arising problems or complaints
- • Perform administrative duties
- • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- • Proven working experience as a Head Chef
- • Degree in culinary science or related certificate
- • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software)
- • Excellent record of kitchen management
- • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- • Communication and leadership skills
