Senior Kitchen Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at a prestigious 5-Star Hotel in South Sudan. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of kitchen management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they will have a working knowledge of various computer software programs, including MS Office and restaurant management software.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- • Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
- • Modifying menus or creating new ones that meet quality standards
- • Estimating food requirements and food/labor costs
- • Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- • Supervising kitchen staff's activities
- • Arranging for equipment purchases and repairs
- • Recruiting, training, managing, and supervising kitchen staff
- • Rectifying arising problems or complaints
- • Performing administrative duties
- • Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- • Proven working experience as a Head Chef
- • Degree in culinary science or related certificate
- • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software)
- • Excellent record of kitchen management
- • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
- • Communication and leadership skills
