About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Waste Collection Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our waste facility. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise a team of loaders, ensuring they comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Facility Inspection: Regularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations;
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of loaders, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and are working efficiently to meet deadlines;
  • Contract Management: Negotiate, administer, and manage contracts with clients, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery;
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate loader performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback;
  • Training and Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to loaders to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in any related field;
  • Effective leadership and people management skills;
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail;
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
