Senior Diagnostic Quality Administrative Officer

Key Responsibilities1. Administrative & CoordinationAct as the central administrative support for the Diagnostic and Stewardship Department.Maintain departmental records, documentation, and correspondence.Coordinate scheduling of departmental meetings, audits, and trainings.Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing SOPs, policies, and quality forms.2. Diagnostic SupportMonitor and coordinate the flow of laboratory tests across different specialties (e.g., hematology, microbiology, chemistry, histopathology, molecular).Ensure all relevant clinical details and documentation accompany diagnostic samples.Support clinicians and pathologists in accessing results, digital data, clinical notes, and case histories.Track and follow up on turnaround times (TAT) for different test categories.3. Quality & StewardshipParticipate in quality audits and document non -conformances and corrective actions.Track consumables and reagents stock for various diagnostic areas.Support implementation of diagnostic stewardship initiatives such as rational test utilization, data tracking, and reporting accuracy.Assist in monitoring partner laboratory compliance with quality and operational standards.4. Client & Partner LiaisonServe as a point of contact for partner laboratories, clinicians, and stakeholders regarding diagnostic services.Guide new partners through onboarding processes and ensure compliance with DSD protocols.Provide feedback and escalate concerns raised by partners, clinicians, or pathologists.5. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare and share periodic reports on diagnostic workload, TAT performance, and quality indicators.Support preparation of external qualityassurance (EQA) and proficiency testing (PT) documentation across multipledisciplines RequirementsDiploma, Higher Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent from a recognized institution.Must be registered and licensed by KMLTTB with a valid practicing license.Minimum of three (3) year experience in a clinical laboratory (experience in any discipline such as histopathology, hematology, microbiology, molecular biology, or clinical chemistry is acceptable).Knowledge of diagnostic workflows including pre -analytical, analytical, and post -analytical phases.Familiarity with laboratory quality management systems (ISO 15189 and ISO 17043 knowledge is an added advantage).Proficiencyin laboratory information systems (LIS) or other digital health platforms
