hat you'll be getting up to:
The Payments Methods Operations Specialist oversees and optimises the distribution of transaction volumes across various payment methods. This critical role ensures operational efficiency, cost optimization, and an uninterrupted customer payment experience. The specialist is tasked with managing payment methods strategically, ensuring that the allocation of transaction volumes aligns with business priorities, minimizes costs, and maximizes success rates. The role involves continuous monitoring of payment method performance to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. This includes analyzing real-time data and predefined KPIs to make informed weight allocations and adjustments decisions. The specialist collaborates with

cross-functional teams, including Payment Operations, Risk, Product, and Vendor Management, to effectively align strategies and resolve escalations. The Payment Methods Operations Specialist also plays a key role in Payment Methods end-to-end

testing. This includes managing test cases, validating payment method functionality, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms. The role also requires expertise in providing detailed data analytics and insights to support decision-making and improve overall payment performance. By leveraging data-driven strategies, the specialist ensures a smooth and efficient payment ecosystem that meets both business and customer needs.

The number of rest days per week will be determined in accordance with applicable local labour laws.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Payment Method Weight Allocation
  • Manage and adjust the weight distribution of group payment methods to optimise

transaction success rates and costs.

  • Ensure weight allocation aligns with business priorities, customer needs, and operational

constraints.

  • Performance Monitoring
  • Continuously monitor the performance of payment methods, including success rates,

transaction volume, and processing speed.

  • Identify underperforming payment methods and recommend actions such as reallocation,

escalation, or deactivation.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze transaction data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to payment

methods.

  • Provide regular reports on payment method performance, weight adjustments, and their

impact on overall operations.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Payment Operations, Risk, Product, and Vendor Management teams to

ensure payment method usage and strategy alignment.

  • Coordinate with payment service providers (PSPs) to address performance issues and

ensure adherence to SLAs.

  • Risk Mitigation
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with payment method dependencies,

such as overloading a single provider or regional limitations.

  • Implement contingency plans to minimise disruptions in payment processing.
  • Guideline and Policy Adherence
  • Ensure compliance with internal payment guideline
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payment method weight

management.

  • Escalation Management
  • Handle escalations related to payment method issues, collaborating with relevant teams

to resolve them promptly.

  • Recommend changes to payment method weights based on escalated cases and root

cause analysis.

  • Innovation and Improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in payment technologies.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance payment method efficiency and customer

Experience
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A college bachelor's degree is required. Relevant degree preferred, such as in Healthcare, Auditing,

Accounting, Education, Business, Finance, Associate, Business/Administration, Pharmacy, or Economics

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office is essential
