The company is seeking to recruit
1
competent and qualified I&E Supervisor with at least 3 years' experience with the following descriptions and specifications

About the Role

The Imports and Exports Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing customs and clearance operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate import/export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations).
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international customs regulations.
  • Communicate with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Calculate and process duties, taxes, and other charges.
  • Maintain organized and compliant customs records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve clearance issues, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade laws and customs procedures.
  • Support clients/internal departments with product classification and customs queries.
  • Supervise and mentor a team in the customs and clearance department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in import/export and customs clearance.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, trade compliance, and HS code classification.
  • Proven experience in team supervision or management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in International Trade, Customs Compliance, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain (e.g., CILT, FIATA, WCO, ICC, or similar).
  • Experience using ERP or customs brokerage systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local customs portals).
  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS and trade documentation standards.
