About the Role

We are looking for a
Sales & Marketing Intern
to join our growing team. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with flexibility for some remote work.

The intern will support our sales and marketing team in developing and executing outreach strategies, managing campaigns, and maintaining customer relationships. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing within a technology-focused company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct lead research and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Carry out outreach activities (cold calls, emails, and follow-ups) to generate and nurture leads.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Support sales management tasks, including presentations and proposal preparation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both potential and existing clients.
  • Participate in and assist with sales and marketing training activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports
    on leads, campaigns, and performance metrics (reporting is a key duty).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with product capabilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the sales and marketing function.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency or interest in sales, marketing, and customer engagement.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) is an advantage.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and familiarity with the digital development industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable preparing reports and analyzing results.
