Role Description — Sales & Marketing Representative (Mandarin-Speaking)
This is a full-time on-site position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Sales & Marketing Representative will play a key role in identifying and engaging potential clients, understanding customer needs, and driving sales of Ventra Africa's diverse service offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, building strong customer relationships, and delivering training sessions where required.
The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service and successful delivery of training and support programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target prospective clients across industries
- Conduct sales outreach and build strong client relationships
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities
- Deliver training sessions when required
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports
- Provide exceptional customer support and follow-up
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (Chinese) — mandatory
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability in sales and marketing roles
- Experience delivering training sessions is an advantage
- Ability to engage professionally with clients and present business solutions effectively
- Self-driven, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Experience in an IT solutions or services company is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
Compensation
Starting Salary: KES 40,000 per month
Commission: Attractive commission structure based on performance
