About the Role

Huashang HAIS Ltd. is recruiting a highly motivated Technical Sales and Marketing Executive to join our client's team in the structural steel fabrication and engineering sector in Nairobi. This is a highly technical role, perfect for a driven professional passionate about promoting and selling innovative structural steel fabrication solutions, including custom-built items and tank systems such as roof structures, pressed steel water tanks, and fuel storage systems. The successful candidate will be seconded to our client and will focus on driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and promoting customized structural steel products in a competitive construction and engineering environment. This role demands hands-on technical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales and marketing activities to meet set business growth targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  3. Actively promote and sell products such as: Roof structures, Pressed steel water tanks and Fuel storage tanks and systems
  4. Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations to clients.
  5. Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies.
  6. Provide guidance in sales training and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  2. 7–10 years of proven technical sales experience, preferably in steel structure or related projects.
  3. Prior experience in selling water tanks and fuel tanks is a distinct advantage.
  4. A valid Driving Licence 5) Strong background in sales training, negotiation, and team management.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  6. Confident, self-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  7. Familiarity with the construction and engineering sector is highly desirable.
