Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Credit and Investment Officer at Salaam Microfinance Bank located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Credit and Investment Officer will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, managing and monitoring investment portfolios, developing financing strategies, and performing financial analysis. The officer will also conduct market research, assess financial risk, and provide reports on investment performance and portfolio management.
Qualifications
- Experience in Finance and Investment Management
- Analytical skills for assessing financial data and market trends
- Proficiency in Investments and Portfolio Management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the microfinance industry is a plus
