Company Overview

We are the global leading enterprise specializing in international charging/ESS infrastructure construction, with a focus on delivering projects of different scales across Africa. Our portfolio includes microgrids, C&I ESS, charging stations, and Integration of PV, energy storage, and charging projects, and we are now expanding our team to drive project excellence in the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects in African regions, including planning, execution, and closure.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with international standards and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with local governments, stakeholders, and subcontractors to resolve onsite challenges.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Implement project management processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with clients, local partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment with requirements.
  • Report project progress to senior management and address escalations promptly.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of proven experience in managing and delivering large-scale construction projects in Africa.
  • Background in infrastructure sectors (energy, roads, buildings, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience working with state-owned or central enterprises is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and relevant software.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to work in diverse African markets.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); French or local African languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
