Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Close Protection Officer located in Tbilisi. The Close Protection Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients by providing personal protection services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, monitoring environments for potential threats, and maintaining a high level of vigilance. The role also involves coordinating with other security personnel and local authorities as necessary to enhance overall protection strategies.

Salary: $220 Per Day (Travel & Housing will be provided )

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly trained Close Protection Officer to provide close protection and security services for high-profile individuals or executives. The ideal candidate must hold a valid SIA BTEC L3 Close Protection Certification (or equivalent) and have strong situational awareness, physical fitness, and experience operating in high-security environments. The role involves proactive risk assessment, close personal protection, secure transportation, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical security and close protection to the client at all times
• Conduct risk assessments and plan secure travel routes and event logistics
• Monitor surroundings and identify potential threats or suspicious activity
• Escort the client during public and private events, business trips, or daily routines
• Coordinate with drivers and other security staff for movement and safety
• Ensure confidentiality, discretion, and professional conduct at all times
• Perform routine checks of vehicles, venues, and security systems
• Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches or emergencies
• Maintain regular communication with the security manager or team leader
• Prepare daily security logs and incident reports if needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in executive protection or close protection
• Excellent physical condition and ability to react quickly in critical situations
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Knowledge of self-defense and security techniques
• Clean background with no criminal record
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Fluent in English (additional languages like Arabic or Russian are a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• FPOS/FREC 3 certification
• Defensive/Evasive driving certification
• Firearms training (if applicable by law)
• Experience working with VIPs, diplomats, or corporate executives
