Senior Projects Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee strategic programs and enterprise projects across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This remote-based role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage cross-border teams, deliver high-value projects, and maintain strong stakeholder alignment.

The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The successful candidate will also play a key role in mentoring junior project managers and establishing best practices for regional project governance. Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple mid-to-large scale projects within the EMEA region.
• Develop project charters, detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, and timelines aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, business requirements, and client expectations.
• Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost control across assigned projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary liaison between global headquarters, regional leadership, and local project teams.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping and maintain clear, transparent communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and present progress updates to executive leadership.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure delivery success.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and industry-specific standards.
• Establish contingency plans and manage issue escalation promptly and effectively.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Supervise, guide, and mentor project coordinators, analysts, and junior project managers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across geographically dispersed teams.
• Build capability within the regional project management office (PMO) by sharing knowledge, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years managing complex, multi-country projects in EMEA.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering enterprise-level projects with budgets exceeding USD $1M.
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance in international markets.
• Proven ability to lead remote, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams effectively.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional European or Middle Eastern languages an advantage).
