. use new ;\/span>Job detailsJob Title: Workshop Assistant, Cooker and Canister WorkshopSupervisor/Manager Title:  Supervisor/Team Leader Cooker & Canister WorkshopDepartment: Workshop OperationsGrade: OperationalPositions reporting to this job:· NoneJob PurposeAs a Workshop Assistant, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing cooker & canister components, assembling them, and performing quality control checks to ensure that the repaired products meet the required performance and safety standards.Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesRepair and refurbish canisters, adhering to standard procedures and tools.Diagnose and repair defective cooker parts.Repair/refurbishment of cookers and their parts.Assemble full cooker units, adhering to standard procedures and tools.Perform quality checks on repaired cookers and canisters before packaging. Accurately document QC results in line with SOPs.Share feedback and recommend improvements to tools, equipment, and processes.Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool organization, and adhere to 6S manufacturing principles.Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of spare parts, components, and consumables.Do any other work as assigned by your supervisor/team leaderAdhere to safety guidelines during all workshop activities. Requirements Minimum RequirementsHigh School Certificate or its equivalentA technical certificate/diploma is an added advantageAbility to use power tools (drills, grinders, rivet gun, compressor) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to follow technical procedures and safety protocols. Ability to work in a highly dynamic and technological environment Good communication and interpersonal skills
