We are looking for an experienced Senior Donor Business Developer to lead our fundraising strategy and secure financial support from donors, investors, and funding organizations. This role is critical to our startup's growth and sustainability, offering the chance to shape our funding pipeline and build lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy targeting grants, donors, and fully funded startup programs.
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with high-value donors, investors, and funding bodies.
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to various audiences.
  • Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and funding competitions.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff and interns in fundraising best practices.
  • Track and report on fundraising progress, ensuring targets are met.
  • Stay updated on funding trends, donor requirements, and compliance issues.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or donor relations, preferably within startups or nonprofits.
  • Proven track record of securing significant funding from donors, investors, or grant-making bodies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong strategic planning and leadership abilities.
  • Experience preparing successful funding applications and managing donor pipelines.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
