Primary Responsibilities
  • Work with the Functional Consultant (s) during requirement gathering to ensure the processes are well articulated and can be easily translated to code.
  • Work with the Project manager / functional consultant to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task.
  • Installation and configuration of business central, deployment of the developed solutions both on premise and on azure or any other platform as might be directed and ensuring end to end connectivity from the client PCs.
  • Support existing, and develop new solutions in AL extensions and C/AL.
  • Aid in the testing of the functionalities developed against the business requirements.
  • Coordinate, contribute and participate in end-user training including development of system documentation, training materials, identifying gaps and areas to be improved, or in need of reworks and conduct trainings in absence of a functional consultant.
  • Data preparation for go live and migration.
  • Offer support to other Kobby Technology Limited partners/clients integrating third party applications to Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
  • Creation and Exposure of Business Central Web services/End points.
  • Working with Web developers to ensure end to end connectivity of client portals to the core system. Might also be required to implement and support existing portals developed in PHP (Laravel), Python (Django) and any other available technologies/Languages.
  • Integration to Bulk SMS platforms.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned during implementation.

Required Skills/Experience
  • 3+ years' experience
  • Degree in computer science, Software Engineering or Information Technology or related
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Good business acumen for problem solving with excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Proven experience in integrating Dynamics 365 solutions with third-party systems
  • Confidence to deal with a range of customers
  • Experience dealing with the public sector is a plus
  • Excellent communication, planning and time management skills
