Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients,
  • Engage with customers to conduct thorough discovery sessions, analyzing business
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, technical demonstrations, and proof-of concept sessions. Collaborate with technical architects, engineers, and account executives to craft detailed proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closure, including pipeline development, qualification, opportunity management, contract negotiation, and handover to post-sales delivery teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft 365 features, licensing models, and roadmap. Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to position Microsoft 365 effectively in the market.
  • Work closely with marketing, technical, and customer success teams to develop go-to market strategies, sales collateral, and training materials. Share best practices and insights across the organization to elevate overall sales performance. Continuous
  • Pursuing ongoing training and certifications related to Microsoft 365, cloud productivity, and solution selling, ensuring a high level of expertise and credibility in all customer engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a presales, technical sales, or solution specialist role— preferably within cloud productivity, SaaS, or enterprise software environments.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the Microsoft security and compliance ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to run workshops, lead discovery sessions, and conduct technical demonstrations (remote and onsite).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with decision[1]makers at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in proposal writing, RFP response, and solution documentation.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technology solutions environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Sales experience with other Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Dynamics 365) is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO and how Microsoft 365 addresses compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies and strategies for driving user adoption.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Multilingual capabilities and comfort working in cross-cultural teams are an added advantage.

Timing

The role is full time on basis 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.

The Microsoft Cloud Solutions Technical Specialist typically will report to the IT Manager. And work closely with the managing director and the Business Solutions Development Specialist
